Terms of use

Last updated: 4 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Safi. By using the service you agree to them. We have tried to write them in plain language, and they bind both parties.

1. The service

Safi is a cloud accounting service for small and medium businesses in Saudi Arabia, operated through an Arabic conversation: issuing invoice records and quotations, recording payments and expenses, maintaining a double-entry ledger, computing reports, and preparing preliminary VAT-return figures from supported Safi records. Some fields are not computed; review the figures before filing. Safi does not submit the return to ZATCA.

The service is currently in early launch. Some features are still in development, and we say so where that is the case rather than implying otherwise.

2. Nothing happens without your confirmation

The assistant proposes and prepares; it does not create any document or post any entry until you press confirm. This is a property of how the product is built, not just a marketing promise.

That said, AI output can contain errors. Reviewing what is presented to you before confirming is your responsibility.

3. Safi is not accounting or tax advice

The service is a tool that helps you keep your books and compute your figures. It is not a substitute for a licensed accountant or tax adviser and does not constitute professional advice.

You remain solely responsible under the law for the accuracy and timely filing of your tax returns, for the accuracy of the details you have registered with official authorities, and for retaining your records as the regulations require.

Some VAT return fields are not computed automatically by Safi in its current version. Review your return before submitting it to the ZATCA portal, and do not rely on the figures shown without checking them.

4. Your account and responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the business details you enter, including your commercial registration and VAT numbers, because they are printed on your current invoice records. This does not establish statutory status or approval; retention duration, document scope, and legal sufficiency remain under qualified Saudi legal and tax review.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe, for all activity carried out through your account, and for the permissions of anyone you add to your team.

You agree not to use the service for any purpose contrary to the laws of Saudi Arabia.

5. Your data

Your data is yours. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.

Processing of your personal data is governed by the privacy policy published on this site, which forms an integral part of these terms. That policy records known and pending processor and location states without inferring external facts from provider names.

You can request a full copy of your data at any time, as described in the privacy policy.

6. Subscription and pricing

Launch pricing is shown on the site and excludes VAT unless stated otherwise.

There is no minimum term and you can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal.

We may change prices in future and will notify you before a change applies to your subscription.

7. Availability and limitation of liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, particularly during early launch. The service may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, nor for penalties arising from returns or records that the user submitted without review.

Nothing in this section limits any liability that the law does not permit us to exclude.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time, and may request a copy of your data beforehand.

We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or that is used in a way that harms the service or its users, and we will tell you why.

After termination, records follow the current retention practice described in the Privacy Policy. Exact duration, scope, and legal sufficiency remain under qualified Saudi legal and tax review.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia, and the competent courts of the Kingdom have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
